Oh come, let us sing to the LORD!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving.  Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.”       Psalm 95:1-2

Welcome………
Now is the time to join the Choir!

The MSBC Worship Choir loves to sing praises to our King and we would love for you to come join us on Sunday mornings as we worship together and lift the name of Jesus with our voices.  Everyone who wants to make a joyful noise is welcome to sing with us.  We are not professionals.  We are not perfect.  But, we serve a Perfect Lord and He alone is worthy of our praise!

We meet every Wednesday night for practice @ 6 pm in the sanctuary.  Adult men and women, young and old are invited!  About every week we try to sing a choir special.  We always have room for extra voices.

We have a Blended Worship style of mixing old hymns with contemporary songs in a relaxed atmosphere of praise, lifting the name of Jesus.  We have hymn books available in the pew and we also have the words on two screens in the front of the church (and in the back for those on stage).  We encourage you to feel free to worship, whether humming along, clapping, or with lifted hands.

We have at least 4 members at a time on our rotating Praise Team every Sunday morning to help lead. We also have opportunities for individuals to sing special music and/or play instruments every Sunday morning.

On 5th Sundays, Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church has a Family Fun-Day with all kinds of outdoor activities, supper on the grounds, and a 5th Sunday Praise Service.  This praise service is open to kids, teenagers, adults, anyone wanting to share in song, testimony, etc.  We have a sign-up during the weeks prior to 5th Sunday.  We encourage all families to join in on the fun and welcome new folks, too.

Please, contact Kevin Woolley if you have any questions or need more info.  Call or Text 903.563.4882.

Oh, sing to the LORD a new song!  Sing to the LORD, all the earth.  Sing to the LORD, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.  Declare His glory among the nations, His
wonders among all peoples….For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised….”      Psalm 96:1-5
